Julian brings a perspective shaped by a career in legal advocacy, dental regulation, and executive leadership. A graduate of Yale University and Columbia Law School, his career began as a litigator for a leading international law firm in New York City. Julian then joined the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, where his work included overseeing dental malpractice lawsuits and professional misconduct investigations.

He went on to serve as Chief Legal Officer and Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Dentalcorp, navigating legal, risk, and compliance matters across a national network of dental practices. Together, his experience gives him insight into the unique challenges facing individual practice owners and growing dental groups alike.

At BestPractices, Julian advises owners on the operational aspects of risk, compliance, regulatory complaints, and difficult business decisions.

Outside work, Julian enjoys mountain biking, volunteering, and spending time with his family.

Mark brings a perspective grounded in the belief that talented teams are critical in building great practices and meaningful patient experiences. This has been shaped by more than 25 years of human resources and labour relations leadership at global and Canadian organizations, including an executive role at a leading Canadian DSO and leading the establishment of a Canadian dental continuing education institute. He understands the challenges of running a dental practice in a highly regulated and competitive environment and works with practice leaders on HR solutions that strengthen clinical teams and practice operations. Mark holds master's degrees in both human resources and labour relations as well as in business and has taught human resources and labour relations courses at leading Canadian universities for more than 20 years.

At BestPractices, Mark supports clients by ensuring that capable and motivated teams are in place to optimize both the performance of the enterprise as well as patient outcomes.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys time with his family, travelling, as well as pursuing activities that promote overall health and wellness.

Julia brings a perspective shaped by brand strategy, growth marketing, and more than a decade in Canadian dentistry. She began her career in advertising and later co-founded her own company in France, where she also earned an MBA focused on global leadership and entrepreneurship.

She went on to lead corporate brand, communications, and acquisition marketing at one of Canada's largest dental support organizations, from startup through to IPO. Working alongside the business development team, she spent years talking with practice owners about what matters to them and the support they value most.

At BestPractices, Julia helps clients define their brand, improve patient communications, and attract and retain patients.

Outside work, she's a devoted Green Bay Packers fan, which has taught her a great deal about patience.
